If you're not used to riding a scooter with the batteries in the stem, it will try to drag you forward while breaking. So, the right method to break on any electric scooter is to bend your knees and lean back. I do see the usage of the disc brake while putting pressure to stop. Overall, I believe the scooter is a fantastic investment. I've only gone 20 miles round way on the scooter and had no problems. I've logged roughly 100 miles with no problems."
